Hotel Ayestarán

Situated in the town of Lekunberri in Navarre, Hotel Ayestarán is a peaceful, family-run establishment where you can relax and disconnect from everyday stress. The Hotel is divided into two independent buildings, situated on either side of the town's main road. In both buildings, the rooms, which are classic in style and decorated with beautiful antiques, have all the amenities.

Plazaola Sports Complex

Lekunberri places great value on sports as a means to a healthy lifestyle and personal fulfilment, so it has different facilities available not only for its inhabitants, but also for its visitors. The Plazaola Sports Complex - Plazaola Kirolgunea - has a 25x12.5 metre indoor swimming pool, a bodybuilding room, gym, tatami, social room, sauna, solarium, multi-sports track, squash and two covered paddle tennis courts. Moreover, the SPA area consists of a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam bath, Scottish bath, nebulizer bath, ice fountain and thermal loungers.

The outdoor football pitch is made of artificial grass, where the Beti Kozkor team plays, and has a capacity for 500 people, with dimensions of 100x60 metres.

Lekunberri and County

The town of Lekunberri is located in the north-western part of the Community of Navarre, in the geographical region of the Navarre Mountains. The name of the municipality means 'good new place' as, due to its frontier location, it has been razed and rebuilt numerous times throughout its history. Today it is a large town full of commercial activity and with a very well kept historic centre, with all the characteristic charm of the villages of the Basque Country with its typical houses. The information and tourism centre is located in the old Plazaola train station.

Lekunberri is situated in the northern county of Aralar, with numerous attractions in its surroundings. If you like legends and mysteries, the sanctuary of Saint Michael of Aralar is a good destination. More than a thousand years old, you will find traces of a past full of history in it.

Mendukilo Cave is located a few kilometres from Lekunberri and is a more immersive way to visit the Aralar Mountains. It is also located near the source of the Larraun River, which is accessed via attractive nature trails.

The Larraun valley surrounds the town of Lekunberri. Filled with trails and paths, it is an excellent destination for hikers and nature lovers.
